Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. (The Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5)
don't know if we'll ever know as big a number in children, but we are expecting number 3 in late July. at night, when all 3 boys are in bed asleep (1 yr. old, 2 yr. old, & 38 yr. old), the quiet is deafening!
By the way, honey, good post. We've (I've) struggled with this our whole married life, but God has given me an understanding, gentle, but godly husband who has pushed me in the right direction and it gets easier all the time.
I was thinking Gary and I could tag along with the Bauers when they come to visit, but the BauerVan is going to be all filled up with car seats pretty soon! Looks like another convoy to Union City...
Have we forgotten that without me, you people would not have a half finished house to go see? There'd be no spectacular pastor blogger to go visit if not for his spectacular mom!
That being said, if possible, I'd also love to see you guys! lol
I LOVE IT!!!! So true about my home as well, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes people do ask how many children we have as if we are out of our mind, I say "only five" and you should see the looks I get, and it gets worse when I say "we would love to have another little boy".

Candace, that would only be possible if it were actually finished! :)
Congrats!
