Pastoring Women from IXMarks
There's a lot of good stuff in the latest 9 marks e-journal. I thought Jani Ortlund's article was particularly helpful.
Yes, I read through the articles on your link, and Jani's post was good! I have been considering how even after mothering children is gone, it still feels very good to have a heart for the home. I get very distracted, this project, that hobby, and realize I actually miss being home, taking care of it, enjoying it, sharing it with others. There's a reason expressions such as, "Home Sweet Home" and "There's no place like home" came to be! How many times have I heard an elderly ill person say, "I'm ready to go home" Home is so much more than windows, walls, and doors....home is a place called Heaven!
