Ironic: Is Iceland Still the Best Place to Live?

Okay, this has nothing to do with anything except further proof that God's sense of humor is still intact. Only God could orchestrate the irony of collapsing the government and economy of the nation that the U.N. recently assured everyone was the best place in the world to live. Truth is stranger than fiction when all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols.

God is responsible for all the subprime loans that has crashed Iceland's economy and put a big dent in our own? I didn't know that.

I guess God does have a sense of humor after all. But not too many people think he is very funny.

RA,

Well, I'm glad someone finally told you. :)

Wow. Sounds like a jerk of a god.

Could it be that people made bad decisions that have awful consequences?

a better question to ask:

Does Darke County have the same climate as Iceland?

Psalm 2
2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us burst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”

4 He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.

Psalm 37
12 The wicked plots against the righteous
and gnashes his teeth at him,
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he sees that his day is coming.

I think these verses illustrate the point of the original post. Not that God is laughing at the suffering, but at the idols of the peoples being shown as worthless.
